Hanfeng Zhang was born in February 2, 1987. When he was 8, he got a birthday present from his father – a small film camera. This is the first time he start take photograph. By the time 2006, Hanfeng Zhang had register to the Communication of University China, and studying film directing there. He has made some short movie and video during the university years, this is when he formally involved to art production. After graduate from the university, Hanfeng went to a job in Ogilvy& Mather 4A Advertisement Company at Shanghai. However, most his works were photography or graphic image rather then motion video. This experience led he moving to professional photography field. By the year 2012, Hanfeng went to the U.S and register photography MFA project in Academy of Art University. Hanfeng Zhang has spent most of his learning time on studying new technique and digital process to promote photography works. Also he has experiment blending antique painting style and high dynamic effect into photography in his works. As a commercial photographer, he also has participate in different style of photography, including fashion, runway, underwater and some still life.
